LeapScholar and Colorado State University Unveil New Partnership: Introduce New Computer Engineering Pathway Program for Indian Students

LeapScholar, part of Leap, announced its latest collaboration with Colorado State University (CSU), a top STEM college and public research university in the USA. Through its array of global university collaborations, Leap has been on a mission to make world-class education more accessible and affordable for Indian students. With this newfound partnership as a part of Leap Advantage, Indian students can complete CSU’s popular Computer Engineering program in a cost-effective hybrid format.

Colorado State University has built a strong reputation for producing highly skilled professionals who find rewarding careers that pay them back. Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) graduates have the highest starting salaries within the CSU College of Engineering. Recognized consistently as one of the nation's premier locations for living and working, Colorado is one of the most innovative states in the U.S., particularly in the fields of STEM and technology, attracting employers seeking top-tier talent.

The program will be available for students through a part of the course in India and the rest on-campus in Fort Collins, Colorado. This hybrid format will reduce the program's total cost by almost 22Lakhs. As part of the eligibility criteria for the program, the necessity for GRE and GMAT scores has been waived. Upon obtaining a STEM degree, students become eligible for a 3-year post-study work authorization upon graduation, just like the benefits of full-time international students.

Commenting on the collaboration with CSU, Vaibhav Singh, Co-Founder of Leap, said, “Leap is enthusiastic and deeply committed to forging partnerships that fulfill the educational aspirations of Indian students. The STEM programs stand out as a favored choice among international students, thanks to the multitude of career prospects they offer. We are thrilled about our recent collaboration with CSU, as it allows us to provide our students with the most sought-after programs at a more affordable cost.”

“International students are the foundation of our graduate programs. Besides contributing to academic excellence, they bring diverse perspectives that enrich the overall learning experience,” said Edwin Chong, head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Colorado State University. “Our goal is to increase access and affordability for international students who are seeking a world-class education that will allow them to make an impact through a meaningful career in computer engineering.”

The fall session for Computer Engineering starts on Monday, August 19, 2024.  Applications are open now, and the last date to apply is July 1, 2024.
